All volunteers, paid staff and teens 18 years old or older are required to have a background check before their registration is complete. The background check expires after three years. It is your responsibility to pay the cost of your background check. The cost is $35.
You need to complete a background check this year if:
- you have had any violations since camp last year, or
- you have not completed one before, or
- you are notified by La Semana that your background check has expired (every three years)
