Hello friends and families of La Semana!
We are continuing to work hard to bring camp 2022 to life for all of you to enjoy.
Registration
Registration will open on Saturday, April 9th at 9:00 a.m. and close on June 4th. You can find the link here. If you have any questions, contact registrar@lasemana.org. In the meantime, please review volunteer roles to prepare to sign up.
Specialty country
We are excited to announce that this year’s country is Guatemala and we need a specialty lead volunteer to bring our program to life!
Volunteers
La Semana simply cannot happen without its abundance of dedicated volunteers. We are still looking to fill a lot of leadership positions and make camp happen. There are some critical roles we need filled quickly. These include but are not limited to:
● Logistics Coordinator
○ Work with base camp staff
○ Work closely with front desk at camp as main point of contact between La Semana and Base Camp
○ Head camp volunteer support and location support
○ Supervise set up and take down throughout camp
● Specialty Coordinator
○ Design and teach specialty program
○ Oversee specialty volunteers
● Friday Fiesta Celebration Coordinator
○ Oversee Friday farewell activities
○ Lead Friday fiesta programming
○ Work with logistics and coordinator on rentals, as necessary
○ Secure and work with vendors for food, as necessary

Location & dates
As a reminder, La Semana 2022 will take place at Base Camp in Bloomington, MN. Camp will take place July 26-29th and will follow a somewhat similar format to last year. We heard you on the post camp survey and your comments will be taken into
account while we plan!
Hotel accommodations
If you are interested in booking a hotel room near base camp in a hotel block reserved for La Semana families, please stay tuned!
