Camp Specialty: Colombia
Today at camp we learned Colombian dances. Campers also participated in a mini Ciclovía. Ciclovía occurs on Sundays and began in Bogotá in 1974 and has since spread all around the world. (We have our own version of Ciclovía, Open Streets, right here in Minneapolis).  Major roads are closed to car traffic to allow bicyclists, runners, and skaters to use the streets. For our version, Campers enjoyed music, special snacks and drinks, arts and crafts, and exercise!

Reminder
Campers, if you haven’t already done so, please check in at crafts tomorrow (opposite end of the building where you play Gaga Ball) so we can get your hand print for a flag we will display at Fiesta!
